Creek Apple Butter Cake

2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1-1/2 tsp baking soda
1-1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp Cinnamon
½ tsp allspice
½ tsp cloves
½ cup margarine or butter
½ cup water
1-1/2 cup Myrtle Creek Apple Butter
available in our online shop!
1 Egg
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup golden raisins
Sift together dry ingredients into a
large mixing bowl. Add margarine or butter and water; beat 1 minute
with electric mixer. Add Myrtle Creek Apple Butter and egg; beat 3
minutes. Stir in nuts and raisins. Pour into a greased and floured
13”X9”X2” cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool
on wire rack. When cake is cool, dust with powdered sugar or frost
with a brown sugar type frosting.
